Missi Roti
Makes one serving (two roti) Ingredients: 1/4 cup besan (gram flour) 1/4 cup wheat flour 1/4 onion, finely chopped 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp red chili powder 1/4 tsp cumin coriander seed powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp oil Water, as needed

Besan

Small onion, chopped

Preparation
1. In a mixing bowl, add besan, wheat flour, chopped onion, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and oil. Mix everything well.
2. Gradually add water little by little and knead the dough until it comes together and is smooth.
3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
5. Roll out each ball into a round disc using a rolling pin.
6. Heat a tawa or flat pan over medium heat.
7. Place the rolled-out roti on the tawa and cook for 1-2 minutes until the bottom side is lightly cooked and has a few brown spots.
8. Flip the roti and cook the other side until it has a few brown spots.
9. Brush some oil on both sides of the roti and cook until it is fully cooked and crispy.
10. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough balls.
11. Serve hot with your favorite side dish or chutney.
