Besan Roti

Besan (chickpea flour)
60 gm
Cumin seeds powder
2 gm
Coriander seed powder
2 gm
Red chilli powder
5 gm
Water
3 tbsp
Oil
2 tsp
Preparation
1. In a mixing bowl, add the besan, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder (if using), and salt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
2. Gradually add water to the mixture and knead into a smooth dough. The dough should be soft and pliable.
3. Divide the dough into two equal parts and shape them into small balls.
4. Take one ball and dust it with a little dry flour. Roll it into a small circle using a rolling pin.
5. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the rolled besan roti on the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown.
6. Flip the roti and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.
7. Brush the cooked besan roti with a little oil and serve hot with your favorite curry or chutney.
