Preparation

1. Crack the eggs into a small bowl and whisk them with a fork until the whites and yolks are well combined.

2. Add the milk, salt, and pepper to the bowl and whisk again until fully combined.

3. Add herbs to the bowl and mix well.

4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter or oil.

5. Once the butter or oil is melted and hot, pour the egg mixture into the skillet.

6. Using a spatula, gently move the edges of the omelette towards the center to allow the uncooked egg to flow to the bottom of the pan.

7. When the omelette is almost set and the top is still slightly runny, fold it in half using the spatula.

8. Cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute, or the egg is fully cooked.

9. Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
