Bajra Roti

Preparation

1. In a mixing bowl, add bajra flour and salt. Mix well.

2. Gradually add warm water to the flour mixture and knead the dough. Keep adding water as needed until the dough comes together and is soft and pliable.

3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

4. Take one portion of the dough and roll it into a ball. Dust the rolling surface with some bajra flour.

5. Place the ball of dough on the dusted surface and roll it into a thin roti using a rolling pin.

6. Heat a non-stick tawa or skillet on medium-high heat.

7. Cook for 20-30 seconds or until the surface starts to bubble.

8. Flip the roti over and cook for another 20-30 seconds.

9. Remove the roti from the tawa and place it on a plate.

10. Serve hot with your choice of sabzi or dal.
