Methi Paratha
Makes one serving (2 parathas) Ingredients: 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1/4 cup chopped fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp red chili powder Salt to taste Water, as needed 1 tsp oil Ghee for cooking

Ingredients for this Recipe
Whole wheat flour
80 gm
Fresh methi leaves, chopped
40 gm
Turmeric powder
3 gm
Chilli powder
3 gm
Salt to taste

Preparation
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, chopped methi leaves, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
2. Gradually add water and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and pliable. Add more water if needed.
3. Add oil and knead again for a minute.
4. Divide the dough into small balls.
5. Dust the working surface with flour and roll one ball of dough into a circle using a rolling pin.
6. Heat a tawa or a griddle on medium heat.
7. Place the rolled paratha on the tawa and cook for a minute or until the bottom side starts to develop bubbles.
8. Flip the paratha and cook the other side for another minute.
9. Apply ghee or butter on both sides of the paratha and cook until it turns golden brown.
10. Repeat the process for the remaining dough balls.
11. Serve hot with yogurt.
