Besan Chilla

Ingredients for this Recipe

Besan flour

80 gm

Water

40 ml

Chopped onion

2 tsp

Chopped tomato

2 tsp

Oil

1 tsp

Salt to taste

Preparation

1. In a mixing bowl, add the besan, water, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth batter without any lumps.

2. Add chopped onion, tomato, and mix well to combine all the ingredients.

3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add oil and swirl to coat the pan evenly.

4. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin layer.

5. Cook the chilla for 1-2 minutes on medium heat until the edges start to lift off the pan and the bottom turns golden brown.

6. Flip the chilla and cook for another minute on the other side.

7. Repeat the process for the remaining batter to make more chillas.

8. Serve the besan chilla hot.
